First things first.

Signing up, I realized I’m a refugee.  I started blogging almost two years ago exactly.  I started on MySpace because that’s where I was finding friends; it was easy and made sense.  But the profession I’m training for requires some degree of anonymity on my part – particularly wrt children and adolescents.  MySpace obviously couldn’t offer that, I was annoyed by Tom (oh, Tom, you lonely son of a bitch), and I was getting too old anyway, so I switched over to Blogger.  But Blogger was linked to my gmail account and I got a little paranoid.  Then I went to another site for a truly anonymous (or as close as I can get) blog but I made a mistake – I gave the address out to some of my friends.  I love my friends, I really do, but I realized I couldn’t be really, truly anonymous so long as I knew they were reading.  At this point I wasn’t worried about kids finding me; I was worried about editing myself for the people I knew were reading.  So here I am, looking for a new home, a blank slate.  Most of my posts here will be cross posts with my other blog, but I’ll also add some other content.  Some more of me, I suppose.  And if you read and comment, that’s great.  We don’t have a history and I don’t know what you want to hear.  And if I find myself writing for you, or anyone in particular, again… I’ll know it’s time to move on.

I’ll be posting so old entries from the other blog, just to introduce myself a little.  And I will be tweaking things here over the next few days.  Come back and find out what color the curtains are, ok?
